Yui Ishikawa Covers Inochi no Namae Song From Spirited Away

Yui Ishikawa covered the infamous “Inochi no Namae” song from Ghibli’s 2001 classic Spirited Away. The song that Yui Ishikawa covered on CrosSing channel (which aims to connect performers with popular songs) was composed by Joe Hisashi, with lyrics by Wakako Kaku. Ayaka Hirahara sang the original.

Yui Ishikawa Covers “Inochi no Namae

Yui Ishikawa is a Japanese voice actress, born on May 30, 1989. She has been active since the early 2000s but rose to fame with her role of Mikasa Ackerman in the Attack on Titan anime series, which began airing in 2013. She has voiced numerous anime characters over the year, including the titular character Violet in the Kyoto Animation’s Violet Evergarden anime series. She is also known for voicing NT-4201 from the Cells at Work series, China Kosaka in Gundam Build Fighters Try, Shigure Yukimi in Seraph of the End, Tomoe Takasago from Eromanga Sensei, and more. In the spring season of 2022, she is voicing the main character in the Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall.

Ishikawa also voices characters in video games. Some of her more prominent roles are Misella in Tales of Crestoria, YoRHa No.2 Type B (2B) in Nier: Automata, Philia in Sword Art Online games, and Liskarm and Nightingale in the Arknights.
