The Extreme Hearts anime has released a new key visual, as well as information on the additional cast. The anime will air in Japan on July 9. Kana Ichinose is joining the cast as Michelle Jaeger, while Asami Seto is Ashley Vancroft.
Other previously announced cast includes:

- Kana Yuki as Sumika Maehara
- Kaede Yuasa as Chihiro Honda
- Ari Ozawa as Lise Kohinata
- Saori Oonishi as Tomo Miyashiro
- Chinami Hashimoto as Nono
- Rika Abe as Hazuki Sakurai
- You Taichi as Yuriko Suemune
- Ayaka Fukuhara as Yukino Tachibana
- Tomomi Mineuchi as Teena Merkies
Seven Arcs is animating the series, under the direction of Junji Nishimura. Issei Arakaki is doing character designs and also serves as a chief animation director alongside Kana Hashidate.
The official website for the anime describes the synopsis as:
The story happens in the near future, where “Hyper Sports” became a hobby for many people. These spots use an extreme gear that serves as support items. A high school singer named Hiyori Hayama wants nothing to do with this so-called “Hyper Sports” but due to a certain incident, her life was changed. She ends up meeting amazing people, which soon become her greatest friends. A story about friendship, sports and being an idol is about to begin!
