Shadows House Season 2 will premiere on July 8 and the episode 1 preview shows off Emilico’s new adventures. CloverWorks is animating the second season.
The plot of the first episode is set some time after the incident in which Edward kidnapped Emilico. The living dolls are summoned by Barbara in the middle of the night and Barbie and Barbie tells them that a suspicious shadow was spotted in the halls. Emilico realizes that Barbie suspects her, so she decides to tell Kate the truth.
Staff is largely returning for the second season and includes:

- Art directors: Chihiro Goto and Hirofumi Sakagami
Shadows House anime is based on a manga by Somato. It started publishing in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in 2018. Studio Cloverworks also animated the first season, which aired in Spring 2021. Funimation streamed the first season of the anime, but after Funimation merged with Crunchyroll the Shadows House became available on Crunchyroll’s platform, where the second season will also be available.
Yen Press recently licensed the manga and the first volume is set for June 21 release:
