Love Live Superstar Season 2 Episode 8 Delayed Due to COVID-19

The official website of NHK reported that episode 8 of Love Live Superstar Season 2 will be delayed to September 11 from the originally planned September 4, after the spread of coronavirus impacted the production schedule. Love Live’s official Twitter announced that a special program will be broadcasted on their YouTube channel on September 4 at 18:30 JST.

Love Live Superstar is the fourth installment of the Love Live franchise. The second season continues the story of the idol group Liella on their journey to become superstars with newfound members. Studio Bandai Namco Arts (previously Sunrise) is producing the series with Takahiko Kyoguko as director.

Crunchyroll is currently streaming both seasons of Love Live Superstar and they described it as:
The first students have arrived at Yuigaoka Girls’ High School, a new academy built on the crossroads of Omotesando, Harajuku, and Aoyama. With no history, no upperclassmen to rely on, and no name to speak of, this school’s totally starting from scratch!
