The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague anime released non-credit opening (OP) and ending (ED) videos earlier today. Studios ZERO-G and Liber are animating the adaptation, and the first episode aired on Wednesday. Takao Sakuma is performing the opening theme song “FROZEN MIDNIGHT,” while Nowlu is singing the ending theme song “Linaria” in the anime.
The anime is based on Miyuki Tonogaya’s The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague manga serialized on Square Enix’s Gangan pixiv manga website. The series released the first compiled volume on July 22, 2019, and the latest, 7th volume on December 21, 2022.
Comikey licensed the manga for English releases and describes the plot as:
Himuro-kun is a living descendant of the Snow Woman from Japanese folklore. But anytime he’s around his eccentric yet kind colleague, Fuyutsuki-san, he totally freezes up! Despite the snowstorm of love that rages on in his heart, and her complete cluelessness, will he take a step forward or stay frozen in place?
