Manga Barcelona announced on Tuesday that mangaka Yuki Tabata will be attending the event in December as part of a special collaboration with Norma Editorial Comics, the Spanish publisher of the Black Clover manga. Manga Barcelona will take place between December 5-8. Tickets are currently on sale!
The special occasion will mark Tabata’s first appearance in Spain as a guest at an anime or manga convention. Black Clover has come to see a nice build-up of success after the current ending of the anime series. The manga surpassed 19 million copies in circulation this year. Its movie, Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, topped the Netflix charts in just the first two days. And the recent mobile game eclipsed over five million pre-registrations ahead of its launch late last year.
Manga Barcelona is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and will take place in Barcelona, Spain where many famous names in the industry will be in attendance. The full guest list of manga and anime professionals at the moment includes:

30 Manga Barcelona will also have a nice lineup of music guests that include the famous band BURNOUT SYNDROMES (Haikyuu!, Dr. Stone) along with Maki Otsuki (One Piece), Kazuso Oda (Coda) (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure), PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE, and Misty. Manga Barcelona recorded over 165.000 visitors in 2023 along with 272 exhibitors, 24 special guests, 24 meet and greets, 78 workshops, and 50 conferences. So expect much more for this year’s 30th anniversary. Tickets for Manga Barcelona’s 30th Anniversary event are currently on sale.
