According to a statement by STRAY KIDS, the songs were written with Bam in mind. The first season’s theme songs were titled “TOP” and “SLUMP.”
The first cour of the second season is covering the Return of the Prince arc, which began on July 7. The 10th episode premiered earlier today. The Answer Studio is animating the second season, taking over from Telecom Animation Film which worked on the first. Kevin Penkin is once again composing the music.
SIU’s Tower of God started serialization in 2010 on Naver’s Webtoon platform and has since received a printed edition by Young Com. The manhwa is available in English on Line Webtoon.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot as:
Reach the top, and everything will be yours. At the top of the tower exists everything in this world, and all of it can be yours. You can become a god. This is the story of the beginning and the end of Rachel, the girl who climbed the tower so she could see the stars, and Bam, the boy who needed nothing but her.
