OceanVeil will officially begin streaming two uncensored versions of Nukitashi THE ANIMATION anime on July 18, 2025. The anime will be released in both the “Seiran Island Version” and the “Fully Regulated Version,” marking its official international debut.
OceanVeil will be the exclusive streaming platform for both editions, which will be released “uncut, uncensored, and unedited” for international audiences. Studio Passione is handling the animation production, and you can watch the trailer for the anime below.
Nukitashi is a two-part visual novel series developed by Qruppo, released in 2018 and 2019. The full Japanese title translates to “What Should a Flat-Chested Girl (Like Me) Do on an Island That Feels Like an NSFW Game?” Shiravune is the publisher of the English release. The first game carried the English tagline “Is the Island Utopia or Dystopia?”, while the sequel, Nukitashi 2, added “Is the Prospect Hope or Despair?”
The first game won Best Scenario and Best New Brand at the 2018 Moe Game Awards. Its sequel went on to win the Grand Award in 2019. A manga adaptation began in November 2021.
