Shinsei Galverse, the independent sci-fi anime OVA directed by Ayaka Ohira, premiered globally on June 25, 2025, at 9:30 PM JST. The 24-minute anime debuted simultaneously on YouTube and Docomo’s d-anime store.
The project is produced by WAGAMI Labs and features voice acting by several well-known industry veterans, including Kotono Mitsuishi, Akio Otsuka, and Ikue Otani (Pokémon). The story follows Zero, a cosmic entity caught in a war throughout space and time. The animation is handled by studio SoK, with a soundtrack by ☆Taku Takahashi (m-flo, Panty & Stocking) and KAMIYA, who perform the opening theme.

The launch is accompanied by a public event in Shinjuku’s Kabukicho district, held in the Ohjo building. The event will include a screening, an exhibition of production materials such as hand-drawn keyframes (genga), and live performances. RSVPs are being managed via event platform Luma.
