The upcoming That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea anime film revealed a key visual and trailer, along with three additional cast members. The film will release in Japanese theaters on February 27, 2026.
Joining the cast are:
- Saori Onishi as Yura
- Koichi Domoto as Zodon
- Koji Yusa as Djeese
The latest trailer also features the film’s theme song “Utopia” by TRUE.
Studio 8-Bit is animating with Yasuhito Kikuchi as director. Ryoma Ebata is the character designer and Hitoshi Fujima is the music composer. The voice cast will reprise their roles for the film:

- Megumi Toyoguchi as Raphael
- Tomoaki Maeno as Veldora
- Makoto Furukawa as Benimaru

Crunchyroll acquired global theatrical distribution rights (excluding most of Asia) of the film. They describe the series as:
Corporate worker Mikami Satoru is stabbed by a random killer, and is reborn to an alternate world. But he turns out to be reborn a slime! Thrown into this new world with the name Rimuru, he begins his quest to create a world that’s welcoming to all races.
