Daemons of the Shadow Realm (Yomi no Tsugai) anime revealed the main trailer and new visual, along with an April 4, 2026 premiere date. Studio BONES FILM is in charge of the animation, with two consecutive cours previously confirmed. The anime will be streaming on Crunchyroll.
The new information was revealed during a special program, where three of the main cast members were present. They were Kensho Ono, Yume Miyamoto, and Yuichi Nakamura.
The opening theme song was announced to be “Tobu Toki” (“When I Fly”) by Vaundy, while the ending theme song is “Tobo yo” (“Let’s Fly”) by yama. Both are featured in the new trailer, which you can watch below.
The director of the anime is the Sword of the Stranger director, Masahiro Ando. The main voice cast includes:
- Kensho Ono as Yuru
- Yume Miyamoto as Asa
- Yuichi Nakamura as Dera
- Misaki Kuno as Gabu-chan
New additions to the cast include
- Junichi Suwabe as Jin Kagemori
- Miyuri Shimabukuro as Hana
- Takako Honda as Left
- Rikiya Koyama as Right

Daemons of the Shadow Realm is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa (Fullmetal Alchemist). It has been serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan since December 2021. Square Enix is also releasing it in English. They describe the story:
