Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World is getting a Season 2 in October 2026. The staff and cast were also revealed along with a new visual. ZERO-G is animating the sequel, replacing Cloud Hearts.
Masahiro Takata returns to direct and write the script for the second season. Tomoko Shinozuka and Takahito Onishi are also returning to write the script. Mariko Kawamoto takes over the role character designer, replacing Makoto Shimojima. The cast will reprise their roles:

- Nana Harumura as Elisa Griffith
- Azumi Waki as Rebecca Bradley
- Kaede Hondo as Claris Cleveland
- Akira Sekine as Ariana Algren
- Yuichirou Umehara as Evi Armstrong
- Atsumi Tanezaki as Lydia Ainsworth
- Nanako Mori as Abbie Garnet
- Maaya Uchida as Carol Caroline
The first season premiered in January 2026 and Crunchyroll and Bilibili Global is currently streaming the series.
Based on the light novel written by Nana Mikoshiba, the series was initially launched in October 2019 on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website and was later acquired by Kodansha. It was published with illustrations by Riko Korie in July 2020. A manga adaptation illustrated by Norihito Sasaki began in June 2020.
Kodansha USA is licensing the manga in English and describes the first volume as:
The Arnold Academy of Magic is a school for the elite…and Ray White is just your ordinary guy. In fact, he doesn’t seem particularly skilled with magic at all, and is a bit of a klutz.
