Toronto-based anime streetwear label Bibisama has unveiled a new collaboration with BAKI, launching an 11-piece apparel and lifestyle collection as part of the company’s 10th anniversary celebrations. The collection opened for pre-orders on May 28 at 9:00 AM PDT and joined the brand’s Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood capsule as one of its major anniversary releases.
Described as a tribute to the legendary fighters of the Underground Arena, the collection combines references to Keisuke Itagaki’s martial arts franchise with Bibisama’s streetwear-focused design approach. According to the company, the collaboration draws inspiration from the series’ “Imagination is Power” philosophy while incorporating technical garment construction and detailed embroidery work.
The Strongest Drop on Earth
The collection features 11 items inspired by some of BAKI‘s most recognizable characters and concepts.
Leading the lineup is the Standing Man Sukajan, which Bibisama describes as a crowning achievement in the brand’s 10-year history.
The bomber jacket pays tribute to Kaoru Hanayama’s iconic yakuza back tattoo, recreating the legendary “Standing Man” artwork through intricate high-density embroidery. The design serves as the collection’s flagship piece and one of its most detailed releases.
The collection also features two items inspired by members of the Hanma family.
The Strongest Creature on Earth Yujiro Tee pays homage to Yujiro Hanma, widely regarded as the strongest fighter in the BAKI universe. Meanwhile, the Biting Cyborg Jack Mesh Jersey draws inspiration from Jack Hanma and his relentless pursuit of strength.
Several other fan-favorite characters are represented throughout the collection.
The 4,000-Year History Chinese Style Long Sleeve celebrates Retsu Kaioh and his dedication to Chinese martial arts.

The Tiger Killer Doppo Hanten is inspired by Doppo Orochi, while the Mr. Unchained Hawaiian Shirt pays tribute to Biscuit Oliva, another one of the series’ most powerful and recognizable fighters.
The collaboration extends beyond apparel with several themed accessories.
The Oni Brain Duffle Bag references the Hanma bloodline’s famous demon-back imagery, while the Underground Arena Rug recreates the setting that serves as the stage for many of the franchise’s most memorable battles.
A Hanma Family Sock Set rounds out the accessory lineup.
Completing the collection are the Imagination is Power Tee and Imagination is Power Shorts, inspired by one of the series’ recurring themes surrounding mental strength, visualization, and self-belief.
Commenting on the launch, the Bibisama Design Team said:
“Reaching our 10th anniversary is a testament to the community that demands more than just a copy & paste artwork on a shirt. Collaborating with BAKI allowed us to flex our technical muscles. Like the fighters in the series, we’ve spent a decade refining our craft to reach this peak.”
Founded in 2016, Bibisama specializes in anime-inspired streetwear and has previously collaborated with series including Gintama and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. The company describes its focus as bridging high-fashion aesthetics with anime fandom through original designs and limited-run releases.
Keisuke Itagaki wrote and illustrated the Hanma Baki original manga. It ran from 1991 to 1999 in Weekly Shonen Champion and was collected into 42 volumes. There were 3 sequel manga series, Baki, Baki Hanma, and Baki-Dou, all of which ran in the same magazine. Lastly, the 5th series, also titled Baki-Dou (but romanized differently), started in October 2018 and announced its anime adaptation in March 2024.
The latest reboot began in 2018 with Baki, which ran for 26 episodes and was animated by Double Eagle and TMS Entertainment. Baki: The Great Raitai Tournament Saga followed in the Spring of 2020. Baki Hanma (also known as Baki: Son of Ogre) was the third installment of the reboot, and Baki Hanma Season 2 picked up right after the first season. BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai Part 2 is set to release all 12 episodes on June 18.
