The Salty Koharu Has a Soft Spot for Me: Details and Synopsis

The Salty Koharu Has a Soft Spot for Me will adapt the light novel by Kazami Sawatari (author) and Achiki (illustrator). The story was originally a web novel titled Shiotaiō no Satō-san, Kono Mae Nanpa kara Tasukete kara Nanka Ore ni dake Mechakucha Amakunai? Sawatari-sensei published it via the Shosetsuka ni Naro website.

The publishing company Shogakukan acquired the story in 2019 and began publishing it under its Gagaga Bunko imprint. To date, Shogakukan has published 11 volumes and a short story.

MangaOne and Ura Sunday serialize Kaya Tetsuyama’s manga adaptation of The Salty Koharu Has a Soft Spot for Me. Comikey releases the English version of the manga.

While Koharu Sato seems like an indifferent, curt person, her outward personality wildly differs from her real self. Koharu’s hard-to-approach exterior is nothing more than a case of introversion. But when her classmate Sota saves her from an awkward situation, the two quickly bond, and he sees the delicate girl beneath her icy exterior. And that revelation leads to the distance between them quickly evaporating.
