LiSA Ends Hiatus: Thank You For a Lot of Smiles

Japanese singer LiSA, who recently went on hiatus, updated her twitter and expressed her gratitude for her fans. She also confirmed that her Ladybug tour is continuing in November.

She performed her latest concert LiVE is Smile Always~LADYBUG~, on August 28 and 29, 2021.

This was her first tweet since she went on hiatus on August 4, 2021. Due to the hiatus, her concert, LiVE is Smile Always~LADYBUG~ was canceled. On August 19, her official website announced that she would be gradually returning to activities as a result of her improving health. They also announced that she was preparing for a concert on August 28 and 29.

LiSA

LiSA is a Japanese singer whose name is derived from her former band group, Love is Same All. She first drew public attention in 2010. She took part in Angel Beats! and sang as Yui, a character Kitamura Eri voiced and who was a vocal of Girls Dead Monster. Her song for Demon Slayer: Infinity Train, Homura, reached 100 million views December 2020.

Hiatus

LiSA announced that she was going on hiatus on August 4, 2021, due to mental and physical fatigue, which required a certain period of time to recover. This resulted in the cancellation of her concerts that were scheduled for August 7 and 8, 2021. Her husband, voice actor Suzuki Tatsuhisa also went on hiatus on the same day.

Suzuki Tatsuhisa

Suzuki Tatsuhisa is a voice actor and singer who is a voice of characters such as Ban (“Seven Deadly Sins”), Draken (“Tokyo Revengers”), and Anos (“Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha”). He and LiSA married on January 22, 2020, but allegations of his affair recently surfaced.
