Demon Lord 2099 anime has revealed a new key visual ahead of its October 2024 release date. Studio J.C. Staff is animating, with Ryo Ando as the director. Satoshi Hino voices the Demon Lord Veltol, while Miku Ito voices Machina.
The character designer is Ryousuke Tanigawa with Yuichiro Momose in charge of the script. The rest of the voice cast includes Daisuke Namikawa as Gram, Shizuka Ito as Kinohara, Masaya Matsukaze as Marcus, and Hana Hishikawa as Takahashi. A teaser trailer was released at the Anime Expo in March.
Demon Lord 2099 is a light novel series written by Daigo Murasaki and illustrated by Kureta. It has been ongoing since January 2021, and there are also 2 manga adaptations.
Yen Press has licensed and published the light novel series in English, and they describe the story:
