According to Prime 1 Studio, the statue aims to capture “the charm of Marin Kitagawa without omission” and was created with attention to “a natural pose that shows off her long limbs, with careful attention to the overall body balance and center of gravity.” The sculpting and paintwork are described as “carefully finished,” highlighting details such as “the lightness of her softly flowing hair, the soft color of her blushing cheeks, and the fine texture of her translucent skin.”
Additional details include accessories like a choker, bracelet, and the “elegant, refined gloss of her nail polish,” along with a special base adorned with fur and lace to “evoke a fresh sense of luster.”
The school uniform uses fabric for the blouse, necktie, and skirt, with the manufacturer noting that “the material and sizing were carefully selected to recreate her characteristically relaxed styling.” The lingerie appearance beneath the uniform is described as “elegant lingerie with fashionable coloring and a healthy figure, smiling gently.”
The bonus version of the statue, which is exclusive to Prime 1 Studio’s online store in Japan, includes an extra left arm part enabling a different pose. The manufacturer explains that “by swapping the part, she takes on a pose where both hands are clenched as she gazes forward—a special part that will make you love her even more.”
The statue is priced at ¥87,890 (tax included), which equates to approximately $606 USD. The release is scheduled between January and April 2026.
My Dress-Up Darling is a Japanese manga by Shinichi Fukuda. It was serialized by Square Enix in Young Gangan from January 2018, and it ended in March with Chapter 115. The anime adaptation by studio CloverWorks is set to continue with Season 2 in July.
