The upcoming Tomodachi Game anime has set its premiere date to April 5, 2022. The ending theme of the anime is titled “Tomoshibi”, which is performed by Saji. Studio Okuruto Noboru (The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter) is animating the series, while Hirofumi Ogura (Cells at Work 2) is directing. The staff of the show also includes Kenta Ihara, who is taking care of the series composition, and Satomi Miyazaki, who is working on the character designs. Michiru is in charge of the soundtrack.
They’ve also revealed a new key visual:
The main cast of the series includes Chiaki Kobayashi (Yuuichi Katagiri), Daiki Hamano (Tenji Mikasa), Yume Miyamoto (Shiho Sawaragi), Tomohiro Ohno (Makoto Shibe), Satomi Amano (Yutori Kokorogi).
Tomodachi Game will also be simulcast on Crunchyroll.
High school student Katagiri Yuichi, who values friendship above all else, enjoys a fulfilling life with his close friends Sawagiri Shiho, Mikasa Tenji, Shibe Makoto, and Kokorogi Yutori.
However, after a particular incident, they’re dragged into a debt repayment game.
The only way to beat the “Tomodachi Game” is to not doubt their friends. Bound together by solid friendships, the game should’ve been easy, but– The hugely popular comic that sold over two million copies is finally becoming an anime! Tomodachi Game is a Japanese manga series by Mikoto Yamaguchi with Yuki Sato as the illustrator. Kodansha has been publishing the manga series since December 2013 on Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, and it currently has 18 volumes available. The manga also received two live-action films under director Jiro Nagae, which aired in 2017.
Besides Tomodachi Game, Date a Live IV (Season 4), Science Fell in Love Season 2, Spy x Family and more shows have confirmed April premiere dates!
