Tensura and TenKen Reveal a Collaborative Visual

The That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensura) movie and Reincarnated as a Sword (TenKen) revealed a collaborative visual earlier today. Scarlet Bonds is currently showing in Japan and TenKen is on its first TV anime season. Both series are based on light novels currently being published under Micro Magazine’s GC Novel label.

Yu Tanaka is writing the Reincarnated as a Sword light novel. The novel was first published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in October 2015. GC Novels started publishing it in the light novel format in 2016 with illustrations by LLO. A manga adaptation by Tomowo Maruyama is currently ongoing, along with a spin-off manga Reincarnated as a Sword: Another Wish by Hinako Inoue, which began in June 2020. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the light novel, the manga, and the spin-off manga. Studio C2C animated the adaptation.

Tensura is a Japanese light novel series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. The anime adaptation actually follows the manga, which features illustrations by Taiki Kawakami. TV anime adaptation by 8bit has 48 episodes split across two TV seasons. The second season was split into two cours. It also has a spin-off anime titled The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, which adapted one of the manga spin-off series.
