Helck Anime Gets New Trailer, July 11 Premiere and Theme Song Information

The upcoming Helck anime is set to premiere this July 11, as announced earlier with a new trailer. Details on the additional cast and the theme songs for the series are now available too. Satelight is animating the series under the direction of Tatsuo Sato.

The additional cast includes Shuichi Ikeda as the narrator and Yukana as Majo. The theme songs include “It’s My Soul” by Hiroki Nanami as the opening theme and “Statice” by Saji as the ending theme. Previously announced cast members are:

Yoshinori Deno will serve as the character designer, while Mitsutaka Hirota and Toshizo Nemoto are writing the scripts and Yoshihisa Hirano composing the music.

Helck is based on a manga by Nanaki Nanao that was serialized in Ura Sunday from May 5, 2014, to December 8, 2017 and has a total of 106 chapters compiled in 12 volumes. Viz Media is publishing it in English.

HIDIVE will be streaming the upcoming anime and describes the plot as:
A certain country in the demon world. The Demon King was defeated by the hands of one of the heroes, and a competition was held for the title of the New Demon King.
